Education in Lebanon has continuously been the concern of the Leba-nese Government, especially the Ministry of Education and Higher Edu-cation (MEHE) and The Education and Research Center for Development (CERD). The private sector, as represented by Nongovernmental Orga-nizations (NGOs), private schools and the teaching and administrative bodies within them, as well as students and their parents, have also shown interest and concern for the education system. Over the years, a number of laws and decrees have been passed concerning schools and students’ that lead to education improvement.
